About Temple Beth Shalom

Our congregation gathers together to worship on Shabbat, to celebrate major Jewish holidays, and just spend time together. Whether it’s a Purim spiel, Passover seder or Chanukah celebration, our congregation is joyous in celebrating our Jewish traditions. At the conclusion of every Shabbat service we share the week’s “naches,”(good news) and enjoy time together at an informal Oneg Shabbat. We provide opportunities for you and your family to broaden your Jewish learning, to participate in a variety of social activities and outings, and to help others both in the congregation and in the wider Lee County community.

Members also gather to cook, play mahjongg, and share other hobbies. We are a small, warm and welcoming community. We hope you will come and join us for Shabbat services, Friday evenings at 7:30.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

– Deuteronomy (Devarim) 31:6.
